Abstract

The article analyzes conceptual models for studying religiosity, including basic criteria for determining levels of religiosity from philosophical and sociological perspectives. The research emphasizes the importance of social, cultural and moral criteria in studying religiosity and demonstrates the need to apply an integrated (system-dynamic) sociological model that is based on personal identity, religious practice and the significance of religious faith. The article also argues for using criteria of religious faith and religious practice for a deep analysis of religiosity.

On the one hand, religiosity serves as a basis for the formation of moral guidelines and ethical standards, contributing to the harmonization of social relations and the strengthening of spiritual ties between people. On the other hand, in the context of cultural pluralism and the increase in the number of non-religious or atheistic views, it faces challenges associated with the search for a common language and constructive interaction between different worldviews.

The article covers several key areas: religiosity and its theoretical comprehension, spiritual and moral guidelines, current trends in religious practice, and the social significance of religiosity. The article also aims to understand the role of religiosity in the formation of moral guidelines and cultural values in modern society. The conclusion emphasizes the need to take into account the religious context when formulating social development strategies and educational programs aimed at strengthening the spiritual and moral foundation of society.
